One of the sweetest scented roses on the market, Sunsprite received the James Alexander Gamble Rose Fragrance Award from the American Rose Society in 1979 and the James Mason Award from the Royal National Rose Society (England) in 1989.

Hybridized by Kordes of Germany in 1973, the upright but full bush reaches three to four feet in height.

Flowers bloom individually and in clusters throughout the season.

Deep green leaves develop some blackspot and mildew over the growing season but are not greatly affected by disease.

Available from local nurseries.
