Even if you only have room for a couple of
rose bushes in your garden, Double Delight should be one of them.
A combination of striking beauty and such sweet fragrance make it one of
the most popular roses ever.
Sunny weather brings out the brightest
color in this rose. -- a lovely ivory cream/white center edged with
brilliant carmine. As the blooms age, the red edges fade to pink.
Double Delight does get some blackspot on
leaves in wet weather, but its beauty and vigor make it worth owning
anyway. Be careful when using anti-fungal sprays, especially if spraying
with daconil, since leaves are sensitive to that product and may be
damaged.
Available at local nurseries.
